Momentum Track Club competed in the third match of the Ebbisham League season on Sunday 16 August, with a small squad turning out across track and junior events.
The Ebbisham League is a local athletics league operating across the Surrey and south London area, providing regular competitive opportunities for club athletes across a range of age groups through the outdoor season. The third match in mid-August falls at a useful point in the calendar — athletes maintaining competitive sharpness in the final weeks before the season winds down.
Alex won the 800m in 2:14.8. Thomas ran the 100m in 12.7. Darragh competed in the 1500m in 4:53.1 and Charlie ran the 200m in 24.8.
In the junior events, U12 athletes James and Orlando both competed across multiple disciplines. James ran the 150m in 25.8 and the 75m in 12.7. Orlando ran the 150m in 24.1, the 75m in 12.0 and jumped 2.98m in the long jump.
