Pat Logan came home from the 15th European Masters Athletics Championships Indoor in Toruń with three medals and a new European record, a haul that adds yet another chapter to one of the most decorated careers in British masters sprinting. The championships ran from 27 March to 2 April 2026 at Arena Toruń, the same venue that hosted the 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships and, a week earlier, the World Athletics Indoor Championships. The championships had a week-long programme and offered competition across every age group from M35 to M90 and beyond. Logan, competing in the M65 category, arrived in Toruń with a competitive record - multiple European and World Masters titles since his M45 days, including European Indoor gold at 60m and 200m in 2016 and World Masters gold in both events indoors in 2012. British titles running back to 2006. He carried the second-best UK M65 rankings in the 60m, 100m and 200m into the championships.

The first event was the 60m. Logan reached the final and took bronze and he again reached the final of the 200m and finished second for silver. The distance has long been one of his strengths, he won European Indoor 200m gold in this event in 2016 at M55, and his outdoor PB of 23.57 dates from his M45 era. Indoors this season he had clocked 26.21, and the silver in Toruń reflects his standing at the top of the European M65 sprint rankings. The third medal came in the 4x200m relay for Great Britain alongside three teammates. The squad won gold and set a new European record for the M65 4x200m relay.
