Kestrels Parents Sunday Sessions 2026

Kestrels Parents Sunday Sessions 2026

Kestrel Kingston · 30 June 2026

If you have stood on the sidelines watching your child train and thought about giving it a go yourself, now is a good time to act.

Momentum Sports is offering 25% off adult Sunday sessions to parents of current Kestrels athletes who sign up between 1st July and 31st August 2026. The Kestrels programme is designed for younger athletes — so if your child is already part of it, you will have seen first-hand what athletics training looks like and what it can do. The adult Sunday sessions are the chance to experience that for yourself, tailored to those taking part.

Athletics is one of those sports that works for people at any age and any level. The Sunday sessions cover a range of track and field disciplines with coaching from qualified, experienced coaches. Whether you have a background in sport or have never stepped on a track before, the sessions are built around helping adults get faster, move better and enjoy competing or just training in a structured, supportive environment that gives a different experience to modern gym culture. It is also, if we are being honest, a good way to understand what your child is working on week to week — and gives you something to talk about on the drive home.

Adult athletics in the UK has grown steadily in recent years, with more people coming to the sport later in life and discovering that track and field is not just for teenagers. The Sunday sessions at Momentum Sports are part of that — an accessible entry point for adults who are curious about the sport, want to get fitter, or just fancy trying something different.

The 25% discount is available to parents of current Kestrels athletes who sign up during July or August, making it a good opportunity to get started before the autumn. If you have questions or want to find out more about what the sessions involve, get in touch at coaches@momentumsports.co.uk and the team will be happy to help.
