Choosing the Best Running Accessories

Core Stability is the latest in a long line of must do's for runners. Not all of these "fads" have been long lasting, but it is pretty clear that maintaining good strength throughout your body - including in your torso is going to pay dividends to the times that you produce.

Also important is the ability to strengthen the balancing muscles in the body as well as the key driving muscles. Tools like wobble boards and Swiss balls can do this for you.

A good mat is a great place to start. There is nothing worse that trying to perform exercises on a hard cold floor, training seems a lot easier if you have a padded mat to put down.
