Weight Training Exercises

The weight training exercises section is split in two, according to the part of the body which is principally going to be exercised.

In many cases more than one part of the body is used, in which case the exercise will be included under the part of the body that is used the most.

An example of this would be Cleans, where most of the work is done by the legs but the bar is held by the arms and supported by the back.

With all weight training it is very important that you concentrate on good technique, as the pressures involved can cause serious injury if things are done wrong. Please get advice from an expert if you are not happy that you are performing exercises correctly.
